Workshop Outline
|
Children’s stress is a common precursor to misbehaviour. Causes of stress and relevant strategies aimed at alleviating stress situations are explored. Children’s misbehaviour is discussed within a theoretical framework that encourages participants to understand the purpose of children’s misbehaviour and discouragement.
Participants are encouraged to use strategies that focus on the environment in which the misbehaviour occurs rather than blaming children for their behaviour.
